We had a great day weather-wise for an afternoon on the course. I must admit the rest was easy as you all created a tremendously fun atmosphere. As I rode around, there were smiles and cheers and overall sense of camaraderie. I heard from a few novices that the format allowed them to relax and enjoy themselves despite their relative inexperience.
Your overwhelming participation with the Chinese & Silent Auctions as well as our Grand Prize of 8 seats to the "Bad Boys of Dance" at the State Theatre allowed us to exceed our fund-raising goals for the evening. I hope that you visit downtown Easton to see more of the items that were on bid.
I think we accomplished our goals for the day: 1) to provide a fun and upscale event 2) to support the Easton Main Street Alliance with their vision of a vibrant downtown area and 3) to bring a few new golfers to the game.
